Light does not function as revelation, nor does shadow as concealment; they coexist as vehicles of an inner experience. The landscapes, the figures, and their silences invite the viewer to pause for a moment between the visible and the invisible. Here, “light and shadow” does not denote a human condition, but rather a way of seeing: a sensitivity toward that which eludes certainty, a gaze that seeks poetry within the everyday and allows painting to become a place of memory. He was born in 1995 in Athens and grew up in his native place, Tinos. He was admitted, in 2013, to the Department of Visual and Applied Arts of the School of Fine Arts of the University of Athens. in the 5th painting workshop, with teacher G. Divaris.
