Exhibition Dia-Chronos - Penumbra | Nektarios Antonopoulos
There are places that belong neither exclusively to light nor to shadow. Where memory meets the gaze and reality intersects with experience, images are born that do not seek to describe the world, but to hint at it. The exhibition is a journey through this liminal space. Light does not function as revelation, nor does shadow as concealment; they coexist as vehicles of an inner experience. The landscapes, the figures, and their silences invite the viewer to pause for a moment between the visible and the invisible. Here, “light and shadow” does not denote a human condition, but rather a way of seeing: a sensitivity toward that which eludes certainty, a gaze that seeks poetry within the everyday and allows painting to become a place of memory.
