A series of paintings - studies that attempt to approach the question "What is painting?". Perhaps it is also a kind of language composed of words. Words are nothing more than a series of letters that, individually, may not make sense but, when arranged correctly, can create an image, an impression, a memory. Similarly, in this series of works, shapes and colors (as the alphabet of painting) are enlisted with targeted arrangement and appropriate emphasis, aiming to capture the place and transport the viewer there. Like a word.
He was born in 1995 in Athens and grew up in his native place, Tinos. He was admitted, in 2013, to the Department of Visual and Applied Arts of the School of Fine Arts of the University of Athens. in the 5th painting workshop, with teacher G. Divaris. At the same time, he attended engraving, photography and design courses. In 2016, he attended courses at the University of Arts in Poznan, Poland, with a scholarship from the IKY. From 2003 to 2012 and during his student years he attended courses at the School of Hagiography of P.I.I.E. Tinos.
