Exhibition Dia-Chronos - Anthrópon érga | Evelyn Foskolou
The series of photographs "Anthrópon érga" is a photographic chronicle of toil, creation and everyday action. The photographer focuses on the human being as the bearer of work - material and immaterial - sensitively highlighting the small moments that make up the big picture of work and human effort. Through her gaze, the photographs are transformed into narratives: the forms of people, the working hands, the gazes that bear witness to stories and toil, compose a poetic depiction of human creation.
Evelyn Foskolou, originally from Tinos, draws inspiration from
from her place, its life and its people, illuminating with her lens a
a reality that is both familiar and timeless.
